Markus Gürne Lecture topics

  • What kind of world do we want to live in?

The lecture is divided into three parts. A current stocktaking with the subtitle: What world do we live in? An outlook into the near future from a geopolitical, economic and financial perspective with the title: What world will we live in? And the part of the title with the name – what world do we want to live in. This illuminates the tools and the necessary steps to maintain peace, freedom and prosperity. And to understand why ecology and economy are not a contradiction in terms, but must go together.

  • Turning point – Europe’s role in a changed world

Crises, wars, terror and dependencies. The pressure for change has never been as high as it is today. Europe, and especially Germany with its open business model, need movement at almost all levels. Less dependency, more security, more division of labour, less bureaucracy, more value and also more price. Financial education is therefore more important than ever to maintain prosperity and secure the future. Not only in society, but also individually. Let’s get ready for a new era, because we are already in the midst of it.
