Literaturhaus Frankfurt
Since 1788 advised the senate of the city of Frankfurt on the construction of a library, but only in 1816 was the final decision for the construction of the beautiful views. The architect and city architect Johann F. Christian Hess was awarded the Entwurfsauftrag and, in 1820, the foundations were laid. In 1825 the classical buildings could be handed over to the public. The old library was the beginning of the 19.
